Boston Magazine
As a contributing designer and art director for Best of Compass, I was responsible for the creation of a print publication that was included in Boston Magazine's annual Best of Boston issue. The publication, Best of Compass, highlighted a curated selection of the finest properties represented by Compass in the Boston area. These properties ranged from urban apartments to coastal retreats, historic homes to new construction, and more. In addition to the extensive planning and design of the publication, I also traveled to the various properties to personally art direct each lifestyle photoshoot featured in the book. The result was a visually stunning publication that not only helped generate leads for our agents, but also elevated the image of Compass in the Boston real estate market.
Adhering to Compass' brand guidelines, the identities were developed in black and white and tailored to each agent's unique personality and voice. The design aims for a balance of simplicity, geometric elements, clear readability, and abstraction.
Boston Magazine
As the lead creative for Only at Compass, a print supplement distributed within Boston Magazine, I assisted in showcasing important programs offered by Compass, such as Coming Soon and Compass Concierge. By consolidating these programs into one print publication, we were able to provide more comprehensive information about the specialized services offered by Compass.
To demonstrate the effectiveness of our programs, we incorporated agents' personal testimonials, property case studies, and corporate materials in our publication. It helped to highlight the successes of the programs and to show potential clients what they stood to gain by working with a Compass agent. The publication served as a powerful tool for generating leads for our agents, while also raising brand awareness and showcasing the exclusive programs offered by Compass. It was a mutually beneficial outcome for both our agents and the company.
The 360 Day event was a comprehensive training program for Compass agents, focused on educating them on how to construct a unique, authentic, and engaging brand. The objective of this project was to change how our agents are perceived. The event was orchestrated by the members of the Creative Studio team, who curated a variety of workshops and lessons on subjects such as social media, brand voice, and photography. The photography exhibited was created to reflect these sessions and provide a cohesive visual representation of the event. To further enhance the branding of the event, we also developed signs, print materials and social media content.
The campaign was launched during the peak season in Greater Boston, specifically during the opening week of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Marathon. By blending corporate branding with agent advertisements, we were able to expand the Compass brand while also promoting our agents' properties and personal brands. The advertisements were placed in over 100 locations throughout MetroWest, along the marathon route, and in Greater Boston's South Shore.
The creative studio team is responsible for producing social media assets on a monthly basis that showcase significant events or press coverage in the local area for our agents. Below are some of my personal favorite illustrations created for this purpose.
